Blevin Shelnutt is an Assistant Professor of English at Concord University. Her research and teaching focus on early American literature and culture, the history of the book, popular and material cultures, and digital pedagogy. Currently, she is working on a book project that examines the development of the antebellum literary marketplace in New York City and the material and imaginative influence of Broadway on literary production of the period. She earned her Ph.D. from New York University in 2017 and was the 2017-2018 Postdoctoral Fellow at Winterthur Museum and Library.
